In this short scene, we learn that the Governess's nipples appointment is at 2:30 p.m. . The Governess is so upset that she refuses to go to the nipple appointment, which she had planned to do earlier in the day. Instead, she goes to the "ront desk" , where she is interrupted by her lover, who tells her that she has "got through" her lover and that she is now unable to touch the man's "pigots" anymore. When she asks him why, he replies that he has been playing with them all night and has been eating them all day long. She tells him to treat them as though they were his own and not hers. She then goes on to say that she feels like she has been "ripped in half" by the man, and that the man is making her feel like she is being ripped in half. She asks him to untie her nipple, but he refuses to do so.
