Si says that he's not feeling well. He's worried about his essay, which is due in a few days. He tells us that he hasn't heard from Mr. Kousaka since he left, and he wonders if he should have told Si that he was going to be closing the school. Si says he wants to hear the whole story from the man himself. He wants to know what the man looked like when he first came to see him, and what he looks like now. Si asks if the man is his brother, and the man answers that he is, too, and that they are both from the "kingdom of hot" . Si grabs the man by the collar and tells him that he isn't there, and then he runs away.
