About This Chapter
The next morning, Mr. Manjun tells us that he's going to be alone for a while. He's been looking into the story of the little boy who was adopted by the local fishermen and his wife. He found out that a big boss of the company visited the fishermen and their family every year. He wonders why the big boss would visit such a small village. He also wonders if the company is owned by the same family as Manjun's employer, and if they're really brothers. He asks if it's true that he and his brother are brothers and that they'll face off against one another in business disputes. He then asks if he can just knock on his door and say, "Hey, I'm going to leave the company for a man" . He doesn't want to leave, he says, because he loves the fishing village and wants to make it rich. He wants to invest in the village, develop the resort, and make it the most prosperous fishing village in the world. He tells his brother that he can't stop him from doing what he wants. He says that he won't do anything to stop him if he really wants to leave. But, he asks, is it irresponsible of him to leave without giving him a proper handover? He also asks where he can find someone to take him to before he leaves. The company needs her.
