This chapter begins with a discussion of the "Supreme Vajra pill" , which is a medicinal herb that is supposed to increase the strength of one's body. Although the disciples feel that the task is too much, they do not dare to ask questions because they feel that it is a waste of time. The elder brother, who is the master of the potion making, wants to teach his younger brother how to use the herb. He explains that he had written a recipe for the herb and was worried that he would not be able to refine it properly. This little boy helped him refine the herb, and the elder brother asks him what the herb should be called. He says that the herb must have a "divine feel" to it, and that the disciples should call it "Bah" instead of "Bh" because the herb is illiterate. He also says that he will go back to practicing alchemy and explain the herb to anyone who asks.
