He explains that the literary star has gone through nine phases of enlightenment, making him a great scholar, a holy monk, an exiled immortal, and a holy man reborn. He will not use traditional methods of cultivation, but will use a new approach. If he cannot accept the new approach, he will send his followers away. He says that his father is the records-hall master of daluo, the sacred land, and he will teach him dharma if he can chop 50 kilograms of firewood in a day. He also says that he will record the details of all visitors to the mountain, and if he does not have enough visitors to teach, he can send them away.
