In this chapter, we learn that the golden lotus is a sacred medicine that can only be obtained by cultivating it. Senior brother ziyun is giving him this medicine in exchange for his help in the cultivation of alchemy. Unsure of what to do with the medicine, Senior brother wonders if he should exchange it for something else or promise himself to her. He realizes that the medicine will cause chaos if it is shown to others, and that he must play it very carefully. He also realizes that he has heard rumors of his sister's being a woman, and he knows that she is able to suppress heroes. He knows that he is blessed with good luck, but that in reality, it is harder to find the right thing to do. He wonders what the hardest thing in the world is to find, and Senior brother explains that he understands. Confused, he decides to leave the flower in order to forget about it.
