In the middle of the day, the Governess's daughter goes outside to play. The Governess and her son-in-law try to get her to come inside, but she refuses, saying that she's too wet to do so. The two of them try to figure out what's wrong with the sink, but they can't figure out how to get rid of the food that's been sitting there for a long time.
