About This Chapter
In the middle of the night, Bai zhizhi, the master of the mountain mirage, is woken up by his sister, who calls him a "bastard" and a "d*mn pervert" . Bai tries to calm him down, telling him that he is innocent and that he has to teach his sister a lesson. Bai tells the men that her name is "little goose fairy" , and that her brother helped her to become human. Bai explains that the goose fairy had followed the goose trainer around to get food and drink, but that she was brought back to help them with the mountain-moisture trials later on. Bai says that the transformation of the goose is faster than he expected, and he asks if she can go back to her old self. She says that if she wants to be a goose, she will give her what she wants. Bai asks the young man if he is in the forest, and the man says that it is not possible to be in the deep forest without being a "poacher." Bai tells him that she is an old woman who usually takes care of her own food. The young man asks her if it is too inconvenient for her to live alone, and she says that she usually has to do so.
