When the landlord, Mr. wang is called to the apartment building, he is shocked to find a dead body lying in a broken box. He is also shocked to learn that another tenant has also broken into the apartment and left a similar box in the same room. The landlord, who has rented the room for a month, tells the tenant that he will make sure that the thief pays attention to the box. The tenant, however, does not take the landlord's words seriously. He tells the landlord that he has just gone out to eat and that a thief has broken into his apartment. He calls the landlord a "bastard" and demands to know what has happened. He asks the landlord to take a detour to a nearby specialty restaurant, where he will be able to find the missing box. When he is unable to locate the box, the landlord calls for the police and demands that the thieves be brought back. The police arrive, but they are too late to apprehend the thief
