In this chapter, the young narrator tries to figure out what to do with himself when he sees the shadow of Nemo. He's worried that he's going to fall in love with Nemo, but he also worries about what he'll do if he doesn't fall for her. He asks Nemo if he has a phone, and Nemo says he does, but that he forgot to tell the narrator about it. The young narrator asks Nemo to give him his number so that they can talk on the phone, but Nemo says that he already has one, and that he won't need to give it to him. He also says that Nemo's face looks like it's been in the clouds all day, and he thinks that's because Nemo has been wearing makeup all day. The narrator says that no one in his right mind spends so much time on makeup when they're out and about. He thinks that Nemo is the type of person who thinks that a girl spends too much time in her makeup when she's out. He says that the girl he likes, hinata, spends too little time with him, and she'll probably be home today either.
