This chapter opens with the narrator's description of the man who works for his company. He is a "top class" man, who is always kind to his employees. He tells them that he has decided to let his mother-in-law join his company, and he invites her to come to work with him. He says that he is glad that they will be able to make clothes together again, as they haven't been able to do so since school. He also says that the company is "specializing" in that it doesn't have any issues between it and a big company, which is why it is so lively. He adds that he would like to see more of the young members of the company also join the company, because he wants them to have the freedom to do whatever they want with their lives.
