The narrator wakes up in the middle of the night, drenched in sweat. He's been waiting for Miyoshi to arrive. Miyoshi hasn't arrived yet, so he's not sure where she is. The narrator asks Miyoshi if she's reading a romance novel, and Miyoshi says yes, but she doesn't want to read it without asking. She's sorry that she didn't ask Miyoshi about it when they were watching a movie together, but Miyoshi's a big fan of romance novels, so she'd like to know what the story is about. She tells the narrator that it's about a boy flirting with a girl, and the boy flirts with the girl, which makes the narrator happy. The girl flirts, and then Miyoshi flirts back, and so on. The boy kisses the girl and the girl kisses the boy back, so the narrator is happy that Miyoshi has been flirting with the boy. The two of them kiss again, and this time, Miyoshi kisses Miyoshi, and she kisses him back, too.
