In this short scene, we are introduced to the protagonist, a young man who has just returned from his first day of class at the university. He has just arrived at the campus after a long day of work, and he is in the middle of a conversation with his supervisor, a man named "Shin." The two of them are in the process of exchanging pleasantries when "squeezing" , a slang term for "kissing," occurs between them. The two are so engrossed in their conversation that they do not notice each other's movements. They are interrupted by the sound of someone's footsteps, and the protagonist realizes that he has caught up to "Shin," who has invited him to a movie the next day on his way home from work. He asks if she would like to go on a romantic date with him, but she says that she has already gone on a date. She tells him that she came to see "a movie" with him because he invited her to go to the theater with him the previous day. She says that if he calls the date a "date," it is as if they are "together," and she wonders if he still has "the wrong to take it" that way. The protagonist, however, says that he does not want "him to find out" that he is "taking dating sims seriously" at his age, and that "hell no way" he would be "put off" by a man of his age. He then notices that the protagonist's outfit is different from that of the man he is meeting, and wonders if they look like lovers. He wonders if the two are "looking like lovers" to other people.
