In this short scene, Hirokazu greets his boss, saying, "My ravous boss hugs you as often as many likes i gave you" . He then goes on to say that he has come to meet him in a business hotel, and that he will eat dinner with him there. He is so happy that he plans to share the meal with his son, Akito, who is studying for the entrance exam to become a doctor. He says he will take the exam again in the following year, but that he is too shy to take the first step himself, so he will wait until he is ready to go to bed. He tells his boss that he was surprised to find out that he had been looking for his job ever since he began his job, and after he was away for some time, he noticed that it was "fine anywhere" as long as he was with him. He wishes that he could bring her to work, but she always liked his posts and that made him feel better, even though they were apart. When he touches her hand, he realizes that they will be apart again, and it is painful to think of them apart again
