It's been almost a week since Akito's transfer to the branch in Kansai, and Hiroyuki greets his boss with hugs and kisses. He says that he feels as though there's a "hole in his heart" . Hiroyuki and Aiba eat lunch together, and he asks if they're both handsome and tall. They're, of course, but he's also curious about how far away they are from each other. He wonders why Aiba didn't tell him about the transfer, and she says that she could've told him too, but she couldn't because of her attitude. He tells her that he made a bet with the former manager that he'd get a job at the branch, and that he would get a broker's license the next time he takes the exam. He's excited about the prospect of getting a broker license and hopes to be able to move to the other branch to find another job. He asks if he can wait for a new job, and if that's what he wants to do, then he'll have to take the exam to become a broker.
