The scene opens with a conversation between a woman named Perly and a man named Manabu. Perly asks Manabu to stop having sex with her. Manabu tells her that his brother came to his office and told him about the affair. He tells Perly that he saw her phone with Perly's and that it would have been better if she had told him that she had had sex with him. He apologizes and says that he will be more attentive to Perly next time. He then asks Perly to do him a favor. He wants her to help him find a new job at the nozomu department store. The previous one had quit, he says, but the new one has not yet been found. He asks if Perly thinks that no matter how hard she tries, no one will find a job for her at the store. She says that she used to work for a hotel and that she was glad to be able to help. She thanks him for his hard work and tells him to hurry up and finish the job.
