Dr. Nussbaum, the man who discovered the maneater, tells the others that a mysterious man barged into his room and took him directly to the other side of the main base. He tells them that he was working on his research when he heard noises outside and that he ran into a group of zombies chasing him. He explains that they made it to the main control room and that they need to get back to the control room so that they can deactivate the blockade.
