Back at the Ult lab, Carrol and the others are worried about the lack of security at the base. They're also worried that there aren't enough staff to guard the lab. They don't really know what's going on, but they're sure it's because the company wants to do research on man-eating. Carrol suggests that they escape through a vent in the stairwell. The elevator is still dangerous, so they should be careful when they get there.
