Carl, Jason, and the rest of the gang are trapped in the main gate of the base. They can't get out because of the blockade, and they're about to die if they don't do something. The only thing they can do is try to get into a safe shelter, but they've got no idea where to find it. Carl and Jason try to open the door, but it's locked, so they have to wait until everyone else has opened the door. They're all grateful to have been saved, and then they all go inside to find out what's going on. Laura tyler is one of the engineers at the base, and she tells them that the entire base is being blockaded because of an outbreak of the zombie plague. She explains that the old system was outdated, so when the new system was being built, it needed to be upgraded too. She doesn't know what happened to the surveillance cameras in the lab, but she's glad that they were able to escape.
