In this short scene, the narrator tells us that he did not expect Bomi to contact him again. He wonders what happened, and wonders if she seems to be off. He asks her if she had lunch, and she tells him that she ate lunch, but that she is nervous she does not know anymore. He tells her that she has to come to greet her tutor, because that brat is about to go through puberty already. The narrator tells the girl that her tutor is short, skinny, and that he is the managers son. The girl tells the narrator that she would like to improve her English, but her father does not listen to her. He suddenly said he would send her abroad to study English once she reaches high school. She explains that she grew up with no friends, so she watched movies while away from home. She learned how to be friends and treat others when she was alone at home. Now she wants to play soccer with her friends, but she tells her father that she will not tell him until she has finished class. She tells him to call her minwoong, and he calls her too, and they play together.
