The narrator tells us that he's worried that his crush, bomi, has been cold to him lately, but he doesn't think it's because of bomi's "assertive side" . He's just worried that she's been having a tough time lately, and that's why he hasn't been calling on her after class. The narrator says he'll have dinner with his friends today, and he wants to know where he saw seul. He says he saw her a while ago on the subway, when she and her boyfriend were arguing. He was worried that they would get into a fight on the train, but she just walked away without looking back. He goes on to say that seul is a neighborhood friend of his from middle school, and they used to go over to her house quite often. He moved away from her for a while, and then he moved back, and now he owes her a lot of money. He asks where she is, and she says she'll tell him later when they have dinner. He wants to hear what she has to say about seul before he leaves. He tells us about a fight that he saw on a train a few months ago, when seul was arguing with her boyfriend. When he looked closer, he saw that they were arguing, and it looked like they were crying. He didn't know what to think, so he went to the bathroom, and when he came back, he found that the customer who had been sitting there had paid for his food before he left. He thinks that this customer is the same one who was trolling Bom when he was in the middle of a conversation with polly. He decides to go to the karaoke room and eat all the food. He
