In this short scene, Kim Soo-nam, a representative of the university, announces that the university's students have completed the semester and that they will have a final party at a restaurant at 6:30pm on the last night of the semester. The students will be joined by the department's "campus couple," Dohyun and Sik-hyun, who have successfully overcome hardship and become successful in their studies. Dohyun, however, is not so successful, as he has not saved any money and has taken leave of absence from the university. He tells the students that he does not believe in fate, but he does believe in the power of change. He says that he is going to learn to draw and that he will shave his head.
