In this chapter, we are introduced to a new character named Parang. Parang is a young woman who has been introduced to the world by a "blonde jerk" who introduced her to a "jerk disgusting" man named Senior Eunjae. She is also introduced to her new employer, who is a "flirtatious" young man named Yeoh-Chean. She tells us that she does not like the food, the air, the temperature, or the humidity of the place because it is "annoying" to her. When asked if she had stopped tutoring Yeoh, she says that it was "a bit... burdensome" and that she did not want to contact Yeoh because he liked her so much. She then asks if she knows what Yeoh has been up to. She says that he has liked her a lot and that he will be late for work. When she tells him to be careful with the fryer, he says that she is driving him nuts. She rushes to the hospital, where she is told that it is a minor injury. She explains that she has a chronic disease and that sometimes she is afraid to be a "reliable mom" because she is a burden to her husband. She also says that Yeoh reminds her of her childhood, but that he tries his best to show only the "bright sides" of himself. She thanks him for his kind words, and says she will not date him even if he asks her out.
