About This Chapter
At first, the narrator says, he thought he hated his kid, too. But then he realizes that the family has changed through the solution. He notices that the father has received a message from his son. The family is back together, and the father tells his son to take care of his health. The father says he's going to a memorial service. The narrator says he misses his son, and asks if he has an eye for gifts. He says he knows something good, and if he doesn't mind it, it will be a success. He tells the father that the train is going to be full of customers, so he should be in the same line as everyone else. He then asks if his son is doing well, and says he hasn't called him in a while. He asks if the father sent him a message, but the father was too lazy to do so. The son says he polished the message with love, and that his mom is always nagging him about his grades.
