The scene opens with a soliloquy by Kim Yong-woo, who tells the audience that he is dissatisfied with the way things are going. He says that he should have gone with Kim Eun-ju, but that she is now an adult and that she has to find a way to get what she wants. He also says that Kim and Ju-dohyun are back together and that Kim gave him the password to Kim's house so that he could use it to get Kim. He tells Kim that if he takes everything he needs from him, he'll become a "gold digger" and that he can pay back what he gave Kim by pretending that he doesn't know what's going on.
