In this short scene, Dohun's mother complains about her son's adoption. She is upset that Dohun has been adopted by a man who is not her own son, and she wishes that he had never been adopted in the first place. She tells Dohun that he is a good-looking man who has flaws, but she assures him that he will be able to find a job as her boyfriend. Dohun, however, does not believe her, and he asks her to check out the direct message that he has received from Yonhap. She replies that Yonhap is too good to be a fake, and that he should check out her direct message. Yonhap's reply is that she can organize all of the posts that she has put on, and if she does not want to hear about anything worse, she should just disappear. She complains that she is going to die and that she should not have adopted Dohun. She wonders if it is because she gave birth to Dohun or because she has no affection for him. Sometimes she wants to take Dohun back to her orphanage, but Yonhap does not allow her to do so. She says that she was so afraid of being abandoned again that she would have begged the younger Dohun not to abandon her. She decides that she will not trust Yonhap again, and will not receive any love from anyone. She asks Yonhap to be quiet in her library.
