About This Chapter
The narrator wakes up in hyung-jin's arms. He's waiting for his dream to come true. He asks if she's slept well, and she tells him that she has a fever. He tells her that he's going to take care of her, but that he doesn't want to worry about her, because she already met her son's mother. The narrator tells the boy that his mother is a spiteful person, and that he can't blame her for being so spiteful. The boy says that he has delayed the guards' working time so that it won't be a problem until the next day, and then he'll go and see his mother. He sends the boy a picture of the two of them together, and the narrator tells him to send the photo to her. He says that the photo was taken when he was young, and he wishes he could show it to her now. He also says that when he and the boy spent time together, he was afraid that it would disappear like a mirage, and so he didn't do it again. He promises to introduce his mother to him, and they'll get to know each other better.
