Back at the hotel, the Governess is trying to figure out what's going on. She's worried about her son-in-law, who's on his way to see his mom. The Governess tries to get the children out of the hotel so that she can go and see her daughter, but she can't find her, so she goes back to the front desk to try to find her. There's no way, she says, that she'll be able to get to her daughter's house without seeing her. She tries to apologize to her, but no one will listen to her
