About This Chapter
At the national mental health center in Mandaluyong, a patient named Raul Lanares is being treated for a mental disorder. He has been confined there for two years. He is a patient of the mental hospital. His name is Antonio, and he is the father of Alexandria, one of the skeleton soldiers. He tells his son that four of his comrades were killed the night before. He asks his son to give him a bit of his blood so that he can celebrate the victory with his daughter. He also tells him that Alexandria was the one who made him go back to the city to find out who summoned the "datu of war" . When Antonio asks where he can find the datu, he is told to go to the battle ground, where warriors once worshipped and made sacrifices for them. The two men are looking for Darago and Darangan, also known as "mandarangan" and "darago" , who they believe are the "gods" of war
