In this chapter, we are introduced to a new character, the monk Goemon. Goemon tells the audience that he was once a friend of the shogun, and that he is now a monk. He explains that he has come to help the senshi, but that he will not be able to help them because he is too busy with his own business. He tells them that they have had enough of him, especially because he betrayed them. He asks them to forgive him and bring back his son.
