The girls hide in the bushes and wait for the soldiers to open the sluice gates. When the soldiers do, the girls realize that they have nowhere to hide. The path splits, and the girls are forced to run down a side of a cliff. The girls believe that it is their destiny to become the queen, but they do not want to be killed by the soldiers. They recognize the flag as belonging to the "Papagei corps," one of three military forces under the command of their father. Two years ago, two of these forces rebelled against their father and destroyed the family. They have now abandoned their weapons in favor of the girls' orders. They are grateful to the girls for saving their lives.
