In this chapter, Shmoop explains that the school is going to shut down its manga course at the end of this semester. He tells his classmates that he's going to become a manga god, and they're all psyched about it. They're going to go on a trip to the place where the original manga were drawn , and he'll be able to become the "true manga god" , which is basically the same as being the "great artist prince" . He's also going to be the first person in history to draw all the major characters in a manga series, which means that he won't have to go back to school to learn how to draw . Shmoo says that the students are psyched about the trip, too, and that they'll all have to come to class to draw the manga , even though they don't know how to do it themselves .
