In this chapter, the narrator asks the reader to help him find the name of his new series. The reader replies that the name will be ready this week. The narrator is surprised that he is still in last place in the magazine. He is worried that his parents are plotting against him and that they are sending him reader response cards to read his manga. He wonders if he is being manipulated by his parents. He tells the reader that last month he was so broke that he could not buy even one of the magazines that the sensei published. They bought all of his graphic novels. If he did not buy the magazine, the reader would have a response card to reply to his questions. But if he did buy the magazines, there were still two reader cards to answer. He asks if the dream kid can afford to buy more magazines. The sensei tells him that he can win a robot vacuum cleaner by sending in the reader's response card from the magazine he is in.
