Back in the city, Gu tells Song that he's going back to Singapore with him. He tells Gu that he can't go back to the city without him, but that he needs to be able to communicate with him on the subway. Gu also tells him to make sure that he doesn't wander around the city. Gu tells him that if he wants to head off, he should at least let him know where he is going. He says that the past three months have completely changed him, and he can face the shadow that Song has cast over him. Gu asks if he and Song are back together in the country, and Gu says that he is. He also says that they had too many disagreements to break up, and that breaking it up was easier now. Gu then asks if Song wants to go with him to Singapore. Gu says he can take his time to decide, and if he has an answer, he can contact him. The address on Gu's staff file at his father's company wasn't too hard to find, he says. Gu explains that he has been looking for Song for a long while, and when he found out that Song was out of the city he was glad that he was free of the scandal. He adds that everyone thinks it will be hard for him to find a job, but he thinks it's better if they stop working together. He asks Gu to give him a chance. He wants to be with him, he tells Gu. Gu reminds him that Song failed to cherish him. Song once showed him how extraordinary life could be.
