In the middle of the night, Victor wakes up to find that he's finally reunited with his "first love" . He's so happy to be back with him that he doesn't care what anyone thinks of him anymore. He tells Victor to get ready for the arrival of the military helicopter. He says he spent seven years with her willingly, and that whatever happened in the past is out of the past. He wants to get away from it all. He asks Victor to sing for him every day, and he promises to do so.
