Back at the apartment, Juliet is depressed. She wants to meet her father, but he's already gone. She tells her mom that he likes her, but she's forcing him to leave her. She says that whenever she was in bad mood, she would vent it out at him, because she knew he'd give in to her. Sometimes, she'd mention other people, just to make sure that he wouldn't get jealous. Juliet says that her marriage to her father gave her freedom, but now she knows that he'll always do things to the extremes. She promises her father that she won't harm anyone or herself, and that she'll never force him to do things that he isn't willing to do. She also says that she grew up to be so arrogant and selfish that she has been influenced by her father. The narrator says that the song, "walnut," is coming to him again, and he hopes that it can help him woo his father.
