The narrator tells us that he's decided to give up on wooing Kim because she's five years old and he doesn't love her anymore. He tells her that they can't get married because he only met her when she was pregnant. He also tells her to send over the divorce papers so that he can divorce her. Kim says that she'll send the papers over to her dad, who's at home. She's sorry that she had to come to pick her up at her house, but she didn't really want to stay there any longer. She says that Kim is the same age as her new brother, and that they'll get along just fine. The narrator says that he should have realized how people around him, the people who loved him, could change and disappear depending on circumstances. He says that it's so useless for him to crave love, because he can only change people's minds about him. Kim is shocked to see her new friend, yoonji, out in the hallway. She thinks that she is in the room with her crush, but then she realizes that she has no crush on her. She asks Kim if she likes him, and then she says that kids in his class said that he was never a girlfriend. Kim knows that if she dates him, she will get hurt. She tells her friend that she can treat him better, because she knows what he likes and who he dates better than anyone else. Kim asks if she can go out with her, and she says yes. She promises that she will talk to him as a wolf and not as a fox.
