The chapter opens with a conversation between a young man and a wolf. The young man tells the wolf that he has been fighting with the wolves and that he wishes he could stay away from the wolves. The wolf tells the young man that there are stories about the wolves that prove that they are untrustworthy, and that nothing good comes of getting involved with wolves. He then asks the wolf to tell him a story about a time when he was with a human and the wolf took a picture of him mating.
