In this chapter, we're introduced to the world of "goblins" and "romantic vampires" . We're also introduced to some of the other creatures that inhabit the world, such as wolves and foxes. We learn that these creatures have been around for thousands of years, but that they've lost most of their natural habitats in cities. They're now getting some help from humans.
