In this short scene, Mr. sirang tells Mr. Shallow that he must not take any more calls from Mr. Manette. Mr. Sirang says that he will take care of the problem on his own, and that he is sorry that he has not been able to ask for his help in the past. He says that if he had not had the incident, he would not have called Manette, or been involved in any way with him. He adds that if it had not been for the incident he would have never called him, or had been involved with any way. He apologizes for his behavior, and says that something did happen to him, but that he did not want him to worry about it. He then says that since he has been helping him out, he cannot ask for any more help. He also says that the problem will be taken care of by him, and he does not even know Manette's work address. He is worried that he may not be able to get home safely, as it is freezing outside. He calls for help, and when he is unable to get it, he goes home. When he arrives, he is surprised to find that he cannot get home because he is late. He asks if he could have sent a message, and if he knows how long it has been since he had been waiting for him, he yells at him to send a message so he wouldnt be waiting. He
