In this chapter, Ren tells us that he will always be the one who forced him to eat the "bait" and jump off of a building. He tells Ren that he wishes that he could ask his mother to recreate the bait so that Ren could see his mother. Ren says that as long as everyone in the world is in the cube world, Ren thinks this is the "real" bait, and Ren thinks that it is better to stay in the black cube world and set up a trap so that he does not destroy the world. He says that he can bring Ren's mother into the world as well as his friend's, and he promises to keep his promise to Ren. When Ren leaves the bait, he is no different than an ordinary person.
