The Governess tells the Governess that she is keeping an eye on her. She also tells her that she has something to tell Caius. Caius asks what it is, and she tells him that it is a bag containing a young girl. She then tells Caius that the girl is named "yuan" and that she was brought to Caius by her brother, Blackie, and his friend, Whitey. The two of them have brought the girl to them, and Caius tells them that he will not eat her until she is at least 18 years old. He then tells the woman that he is trying to find a woman to take care of the girl, and that if the woman agrees, he will keep the girl alive for another two years. The woman is shocked and asks Caius if he is thinking of fighting her. The man says that he does not think so, but Caius begs him to save the girl.
