For example, we learn that the protagonist is a young man who has just returned from a trip to India. He is very excited to be back in his home country, but he is also aware that he is being watched by his family and friends. He feels that his presence in India will make him feel more at home, and he wishes that he could be closer to them. He also feels that he will be able to communicate more easily with them, as they are more mature than he is.
