The woman is shocked at the young man's lack of self-control. She calls him "a kitten" and he responds by saying that he does not know if it is illegal for a mermaid to be kept. He tells her that he wants to take the mermaid back to his own home. The girl tells him that she has just received a phone call from her big sister, who is now in the village. She tells him to meet her in the old office building in the town of Guta, where she has renovated the place into a home for her. She says that she will be waiting for the girl in bed.
