There are two people in the room, and one of them is hiding behind the other. The other hides behind the curtains, pretending to be the other person. The two pretend to be normal, and the other pretends to be mad. The narrator explains that he's leaving tonight, and wants to know what's going on with the seeding competition. He's not interested in the competition at all, he says, so he'll hold on to the idea no matter what happens.
