In this chapter, we learn that the school's cafeteria has been closed for hygiene reasons, and the students are forced to eat from take-away dishes. The captain of the team is angry, and he is about to go to lunch with the other students, but the captain is too excited to go, so he orders his own lunch and eats alone. He tells us that he is surprised that there is such a large village nearby the school, and that when the new school is finished, the batch of students would have graduated long ago. He wants to buy some beef noodles, but he can't find the captain. He goes to a nearby restaurant, where he finds the captain waiting for him, and they eat together.
