About This Chapter
Roxane and Roxane discuss the possibility of going to diamond-head for five days. Roxane says she's not sure if she wants to do it, but she'd like to try it. She tells Roxane that it's a "traditional way" of having sex in the region, and that it focuses on "spiritual aspects" rather than "physical pleasure" . She adds that she'll have sex with Roxane for 40 minutes after the first kiss, and then she can go back to her normal life. She's glad to have coffee for her at the market, and she hopes that someday they'll be able to get married. She also says that she doesn't want to make everyone feel bad about loving each other, because that's the only thing that matters, after all. She says that people will say things that they don't like because they're afraid of what their family will think, and timing matters too, too. She asks Roxane if she made a big decision about getting married, and he says that he did, but that it was hard for him to understand everyone else's feelings about it. He adds that he'd rather love each other than make everyone else feel bad. He says that sex has no bearing on how people feel about him, because he loves each other so much that he can't help but love them all. He then asks if he's right that a woman is getting married. He's sure that she is, but he says he'll try to make her feel better about it if he can. He asks if there's anything he can do to make
