In this short scene, Roxane delivers a soliloquy in which she laments the fact that she is unable to sleep. She laments that she has not been able to sleep because she has been unable to control her emotions. She also laments her inability to communicate with Roxane's husband, who has not yet returned from his trip to the moon. Roxane, however, is able to communicate to her husband that she wants him to sleep with her.
