The scene opens with Roxane's "naughty mouth" apologizing for the wait. She's been waiting for someone to come to the theater, and now she wants to know what's going on. She asks if the guy she's hanging out with is having a good time. He's not, and she tells him to chill out. She wants him to buy her some clothes so she can "look around some more" . He says he'll buy her a jacket if she'll stay for the night. She says she doesn't need the jacket, but if she does, she won't be staying. He tells her to "keep looking for ward" , which is a reference to the fact that he's a ward of Roxane, and he wants her to keep looking for him. He asks her if she would like to "kiss" him, which she says she would do if she had the chance. She tells him she'd do it too, but he says she can't do it, because "he's doing it enough to make me shiver." She says that she lost her earrings when she last saw him, and that she'm not going to see him for a while. She thinks he was waiting for some other guy, and then she says he was just "your i see" and that he was the one to "playmate" her .
