When the gang gets back to the hotel, they find that the manager has kicked out some of the students who've been using the place as a place to sell drugs. The manager says that he's afraid that the students will get into trouble if he tells anyone about it, but he doesn't want to. He tells the gang that he can't figure out who the students' families are, and that it's too much like what happened to his brother when he was a teenager. The only thing that's different about this time is that the kids aren't from wealthy families, so they don't have to deal with the same kinds of problems.
